Hart Marine is a dynamic company specialising in the manufacture of custom built boats for racing, pleasure and commercial interests. Hart Marine’s composite constructions and components are sought after by marine, automotive and commercial industries. We have built over 150 boats and have worked well over 2 million man hours building composite structures. With approximately 40 permanent staff we are one of the most experienced and best equipped advanced composite boat yards in the world. Our team are well versed in the needs of our clients through their working in all corners of the world and their commitment to safety, environment and community through the Hart Marine SEC (Safety, Environment and Community) Policy.

What we do We are primarily custom boat builders, working at the exotic end of the material spectrum but in addition, we are usually working on a variety of projects from naval/commercial craft in Malaysia, Hovercrafts for Singapore or Self righting pilot boats for some of the most extreme areas here in Australia. Regardless of craft, Hart Marine’s commitment to excellence and safety is paramount. |

Key Personnel Mal Hart – Managing Director Mal has over the past 30 years gained an enviable reputation as both a competitive yachtsman and boat builder of the highest order. Mal recognized early the need to build on the reputation and experience of the many skills within Hart Marine rather than just his own following. As such he has developed and implemented a strong internal team many of whom have been with Hart Marine for over fifteen years. Mal oversees both the relationship with clients and the development of each and every project. Aaron Haigh – Project Manager Aaron has been Project Manager at Hart Marine for over 10 years and has been with the company for 19. He provides overall leadership whilst maintaining a hands on approach to all projects. His construction knowledge is world class and his skills are highly regarded within the industry. Julian Cox – Team Leader Julian started his boat building apprenticeship with Hart Marine 15 years ago and in this time has become an important part of our team. His approach to project management and team building is an asset in ‘time critical’ projects. |
